A Steampunk AU set in the Harry Potter world, where Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy work together on a flying steam ship fighting crime and other threats. This was the first time I've done a piece with Steampunk and I loved it! Drawn for a prompt in the 2017 Harry Potter Art Fest at the Livejournal Community hd_fanart.
Summary: Draco Malfoy is one-half of the best damned Aerial Steam Team in Wizarding Britain, and he's exceedingly proud of it. It doesn't hurt that his partner is not nearly as displeasing as previously presumed, even if Potter doesn't always support Draco's fashion choices. Really, how can Draco not want to transfigure his standard-issue Ministry uniform (boring!) into something more posh. He's still the best at his job. He even invented wings!
A comic crossover inspired by The Minion Movie and by J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.
My love of the Minions and love of Harry Potter combined! :D

Portrait painted in memory of Alan Rickman after his death in 2016. A print of this artwork was donated to a Harry Potter event for children in Great Britain. The work sold in silent auction for £90, 100% of which will be used for future children's Harry Potter events.
Alan Rickman (1946 - 2016) was without question one of my most favorite actors of all time. His untimely death was a shock and I felt the loss keenly. I am also deeply grateful for all the joy he has given me - from his stealing-the-show performance as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves to his heartfelt portrayal of Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility to the glorious silliness that was Galaxy Quest (to name a few) - I have loved all of them. But perhaps above all, he was Professor Severus Snape. He will so be missed.
